TCA Peels
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels are performed by Dr. Bhanot in the office to refresh your appearance by removing the epidermal cells of the outermost layer of the skin. These peels can be done in varying strengths and are formulated at Dr. Bhanot’s discretion. The peel is useful in removing or reducing the appearance of pigmentation abnormalities (such as sun-damaged skin) and improving the texture of the skin. TCA peels also reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and remove cells damaged by sun exposure that can potentially form future skin cancers.
These peels are generally performed at two-week intervals in a series of five peels. Overall, the results will be visible to you and your friends. The skin appears fresher, smoother, and with a more even skin tone.
Botox Injections
Dr. Bhanot administers Botox cosmetics to treat moderate to severe forehead lines and crow’s feet lines, as well as frown lines. Botox effectively blocks the signals along nerve pathways, limiting selected muscular movement in areas of the face. When done correctly, a natural-looking appearance is achieved and existing wrinkles are relaxed, softening the appearance of the face.
Dermal Injectable Fillers
Dermal injectable fillers, such as Restylane, Juvederm, and Voluma, are also offered at Bhanot Facial Plastic Surgery and are administered by the expert hands of Dr. Bhanot. These fillers may be used in myriad applications, whether it be lip augmentation, enhancing shallow contours, reducing marionette lines (the long vertical lines that may frame the mouth), softening facial creases, or improving the appearance of recessed scars. The key to fillers is not to overdo it.
